Rentable E-commerce System: v5.24.0

We have prepared many new features in the Sellvio v5.24.0 version. We have switched to ChatGPT 4o in our system, a text editing option has been added to the main page of the pages, product previews are now available with one click from the administration interface, but we also have many other new features, which you can read more about in the article.

Switch to ChatGPT 4o

Previously, Sellvio’s AI suite features used the ChatGPT-3.5 model, which was already capable of providing intelligent responses. ChatGPT 4o opens up even more possibilities, offering faster and more efficient interactions with multimedia support.

ChatGPT-4o can handle even complex tasks, such as legal questions, technical problems, or scientific analyses. It is able to consistently maintain the context of previous responses during longer conversations and also supports the interpretation of visual information. This version is especially suitable for those looking for a fast and multi-tasking AI assistant, whether it’s content creation or complex analytics.

User login for administrators

Webshop owners now have the option to log in on behalf of a specific user.

This new feature helps administrators see what the customer sees when they log in to a user account, making it easier to understand and resolve issues such as errors during checkout or browsing. They can test user-specific situations to ensure that discounts or special offers work properly for each user group.

Administrators can easily help customers place, modify, or cancel their orders. This is especially useful for more complex payment or shipping issues. In case of account login or setup issues, the personalization feature can be used to easily help customers log in or change their settings.

This option not only makes assistance faster, but also improves the overall user experience.

AppShop integration

With the AppShop system, Sellvio webshops become available as iOS and Android mobile applications. The system synchronizes data with the webshop on a daily basis, so it always stays up to date. With the rental application, customers become more efficiently accessible through customized notifications, and shopping can be done via a mobile device with just a few clicks.

Longer text input option on the home page

From now on, it is possible to add text content directly to the home page more easily, making it even easier to edit and display unique content.

The new feature is implemented with the help of the CK Editor used in the system, so we will be able to create home page content in the same way as we edit existing text pages. This tool provides an intuitive interface that makes it easier to add texts, images and other elements.

The goal of the development is to offer website owners a more flexible and efficient tool for customizing their home page.

Displaying product prices after logging in

In Sellvio v5.24 - in response to our customers' requests - we have enabled online store owners to set whether their prices can be seen by everyone who visits the site or only by those who view the site as registered and logged in users.

This solution can be especially useful if an online store works with special offers or discounts that are only available to registered customers.

Ability to modify synchronization product names

Many of our customers take advantage of the opportunity to synchronize their products from external sites or services to the Sellvio online store. Listening to the needs of our users, our latest version has introduced the ability for administrators to decide whether they want to synchronize the name, short description and description of their products continuously, or to manually modify these fields after the first product receipt - without overwriting.

Opening a product page directly from the admin panel

In the rapidly changing world of e-commerce, efficiency plays a key role for both users and administrators. In this spirit, we present one of the latest and perhaps most practical improvements in the next version of Sellvio, which significantly simplifies the management of products on the platform.

The central element of the update is a new button that allows administrators to open a given product directly on the frontend interface, so they can immediately see how the product appears to users. This simple but extremely effective feature speeds up everyday workflows, as switching between products will now be much smoother.

Optimizing synchronizations

Our system has many options for synchronizations, which is why we saw the need to optimize the functions. Synchronizations now run up to ten times faster, which significantly simplifies and speeds up the work of online store managers.

Design theme description and preview

Our system now makes it even easier to choose the right theme for your website. Until now, when selecting themes, users could only see images and a preview, but now each theme also has a detailed description to make it easier to find the most suitable one.

We have also added a preview button to the design selection process, which allows you to preview how the subpages will look with the given theme with one click.

Making texts more transparent

Recently, based on feedback from our customers, we have modified some of the texts and wording in our system. Our goal is to make the descriptions clearer and easier to understand, so that our users do not encounter misunderstandings during our services.
