Store management

The Store management administration page allows store owners to track and update stock levels for individual product items by warehouse.

Administrators can easily update the stock level of a product item in a specific warehouse by entering the desired quantity in the corresponding column for that warehouse.

The Store management administration page can be accessed from the administrative sidebar under Webshop → Store management.

Store management

 

  1. Keyword – Based on the word entered in the field, the search will display products whose names contain the specified keyword.
  2. Brand Search – A brand can be selected, and its products will be displayed in the list.
  3. On Stock – This option filters the product list to show only items that are currently in stock.
  4. Out of Stock – This option filters the product list to show only items that are currently out of stock.
  5. Below Minimum – This option filters the product list to show only items with stock levels below the specified minimum quantity.
  6. Name – The product name, followed by the SKU number in parentheses.
  7. Brand – The brand associated with the product.
  8. Warehouses – Warehouses used for online sales.
  9. Warehouses with Exclamation Mark – Warehouses displayed in red with an exclamation mark at the end are disabled for online sales. Their stock levels are not included in the number of items currently available through the webshop.
  10. Minimum Quantity – This field is used to specify the product's minimum stock level. If a product's stock falls below the set minimum quantity, its row will be highlighted with a red background.
  11. Import – Updating the stock levels for individual products can be a tedious task. Store owners have the option to export the current stock levels from their warehouses in an Excel spreadsheet, make the necessary updates, and then import the updated Excel file to automate the stock update process. Clicking the "Import" button will open the export-import window.

Automating the Inventory Update Process

As mentioned earlier, clicking the Import button on the Inventory Management Administration page opens the export-import window, streamlining the inventory management process.

Store management

  • Export - By clicking the Export button, store owners can download a list of products available in the webshop along with the stock levels for each warehouse.
  • Import File - Using the file input field, administrators can browse their computer and select the Excel file updated with the new stock levels.
  • Submit - After selecting the imported Excel file, clicking the Save button initiates the import process. Sellvio processes the Excel file row by row, updating the stock levels for each product in each warehouse based on the new quantities specified in the imported file.
