SEO settings

The SEO administration interface provides more detailed control over the SEO settings of the online store, allowing for fine-tuning to achieve better search engine rankings.

The Sellvio SEO settings can be accessed in the administration sidebar under SEO → Settings.

SEO settings

  1. What should happen if users try to open a non-existent page? - this setting allows you to decide how your online store should respond if a visitor attempts to view content that is no longer available. The store owner can choose from the following options:
    1. Display a "Not Found" page with a 404 status code.
    2. Redirect to the homepage with a 301 status code (permanent redirect).
    3. Redirect to the homepage with a 302 status code (temporary redirect).
  2. Would you like to log URLs that lead to 404 pages? - This setting lets you decide whether to log cases where visitors attempt to access unavailable content and receive a 404 status code. Sellvio offers three logging levels:
    1. Yes – In this case, all URLs leading to 404 pages will be logged, including unavailable images and documents.
    2. Yes, except for static files like images – Here, the system logs only non-existent pages, excluding static files.
    3. No – In this case, regardless of content type, Sellvio will not log 404 incidents.
  3. To finalize the SEO settings, click the "Submit" button.
